Account and Data Deletion

How to delete your Wayfinder account, what gets erased, and how long it takes.

Effective from September 03, 2026

This page explains how to delete your Wayfinder account and the data attached to it. Wayfinder is published by Filipe Daniel Fonseca dos Santos, sole proprietor (MEI), CNPJ 21.477.667/0001-50, trading as Mercurios Comércio, Tecnologia e Análise de Dados.

Deletion applies to Wayfinder. If you use the same login in another app published by Mercurios, that app and its data are not affected. If Wayfinder was the only app you used that login in, the login itself — email and credential — is erased as well.

This English text is a translation provided for convenience. If the two versions differ, the Portuguese version governs.

Delete from inside the app

  1. Open Wayfinder and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings › Account.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Type the account's email address to confirm and tap Delete.

Deletion happens on the server first. Only once it is confirmed does the app erase the local copy and sign you out. If the server cannot be reached, nothing is erased and the app tells you why — try again when you are online.

Delete without the app

If you can no longer open the app or have lost access to your device, send an email to [email protected] from the address registered on the account, with the subject Delete my Wayfinder account.

We confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 15 days. We may ask one verification question before proceeding, so that nobody but you can delete your account.

If a local copy is still on one of your devices, it is erased only when you sign out on that device or uninstall the app.

What is deleted

  • Your access to Wayfinder: the Wayfinder user record and the permission that links it to your login.
  • The login itself — email, credential and, if you signed in with Google, the name and photo received from it — when Wayfinder was the only app that used it.
  • All the content you created: life areas and self-assessments, values, mission, visions, milestones, goals, habits and their completion history, commitments, schedules, notes, lists and planning sessions.
  • The account's sync record: the change history and the installation identifiers attached to it.
  • The local copy on the device, when deletion is done from inside the app.

This removal is permanent. There is no way to restore the account or its content afterwards.
